General
Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking the pre-cut framing, doors and hardware. You will also receive a detailed manual with step by step instructions. Each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art and has been developed with the novice builder in mind.

All required hardware including door hinges, latch, nails, hurricane hangers, glue for gussets and detailed instruction manual. Shingles and roof edge provided by owner.
Order with confidence. We take great pride in our wood shed kits. Product quality and satisfaction is out number one goal. We use the highest grade of lumber from Sweden and Germany. These countries require a more stringent grading system than US standards insuring only the best lumber is used in your shed kit.
Siding
Primed 3/8" wood siding, with vertical grooves, creates an attractive plank look.
Smart Panel, manufactured by Lousiana-Pacific, creates the visual beauty of real wood with the strength and durability of an engineered product.
The siding is made from wood strands, pressed into a resin saturated substrate, superior to plywood. A cedar texture is embossed into the substrate, free from knot holes and patches. Other features include:
- Primed, ready for paint color of your choice. Latex acrylic paint recommended.
- Treated with Composibor (from U.S. Borax) prevents fungal decay and insect damage.
- Backed with a 50 year limited warranty.
Elevation

Trusses
Our trusses are engineered to handle severe snow load of 40 psf (pounds per square foot) and 90 mph wind loads.
For extra strength metal hurricane truss hangers are supplied to secure trusses to the exterior walls.

Pocket Doors
Sliding doors are made from solid pine tongue-and-groove barn siding. Arched opening adds visual appeal.
Opened, doors recede from sight. Closed, they’re weather-tight and block out rain and snow. Door opeing width is 4'-7".
Windows
Optional windows with shutters and gable window.
Single hung windows 18" x 27" aluminum windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects. Decorative raised panel vinyl shutters are ready to paint.
Decorative octagonal gable windows illuminate interiors, beautify exteriors.

We debated whether to build our shed from scratch or a kit and decided to take a chance on your Cambridge shed kit as we absolutely loved the look. We ordered our kit from you on May 31st , 2011 and our shed was totally up by mid June. We are so happy with our new shed and have had many compliments on how nice it looks. Overall it was easy to put up but we did have too much help and opinions when putting it together so the first day was rather hectic. You really do need to follow the directions precisely and you'll have no problems. A friend of ours was building a shed at the same time but built his from scratch and not a kit. It wasn't long before he realized he had made a mistake as he knows very little about building anything and one of your kits would have been perfect for him. Thank you so much for your impressive product! We would recommend your kits to anyone!

Dear Linda, I just wanted to know that I appreciate your most excellent service and my wife and I are very happy with our new "Cambridge" shed. I would strongly recommend your company to anyone looking for a shed. With your guidance, bringing the shed into Canada turned out to be no problem at all. I am impressed with quality of materials and design of the shed and I estimate that it took about 100 man-hours (for three of us) to construct the kit (on a concrete slab) including all roofing and painting. I do have some suggested improvements to the assembly instructions, including several that apply to customers using a concrete slab. If you would give me an address, I could forward them to the manufacturer's attention. Thanks again

I really enjoyed putting the kit together. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Every thing fit together perfictly. Everyone in my neighborhood thinks I'm a pro. Obviously, I've added some extra space in the back of the shed for the riding mower after adding bracing inside. Thanks.
