If you are looking for a lot of storage space, workshop or garage the 14' wide Pinewood has a lot to offer. Available in 16', 20', 24' and 28' lengths you'll find plenty of space for all your storage and workshop needs.

Featuring 8'-1" high wall height with 7'-6" interior first floor headroom there is room for adding shelving for tool and equipment storage. Two separate loft areas offer additional storage or work areas. Headroom at center is 6'-2".

Two 24" x 36" windows, a 32" x 80" 9-Lite man door and 48" x 7' carriage style doors are included. The L.P. Smartside siding is 8" o.c. tongue and groove and is primed ready to paint. Paint purchased separately. Shingles, drip edge, ridge vent and felt paper purchased separately.

Once you receive your new building begin by unpacking all material and hardware. Inspect all items and organize for easy identification during construction. The detailed manual includes step by step instructions where each step is explained with clear instructions and detailed line art.

All required hardware including door hinges, latch, nails, hurricane hangers, and detailed instruction manual. Shingles and roof edge purchased separately.

These countries require a more stringent grading system than US standards insuring only the best lumber is used in your shed kit.

Siding

Primed 3/8" wood siding, with vertical grooves, creates an attractive plank look.

Smart Panel, manufactured by Lousiana-Pacific, creates the visual beauty of real wood with the strength and durability of an engineered product.

The siding is made from wood strands, pressed into a resin saturated substrate, superior to plywood. A cedar texture is embossed into the substrate, free from knot holes and patches. Other features include:

  • Primed, ready for paint color of your choice. Latex acrylic paint recommended.
  • Treated with Composibor (from U.S. Borax) prevents fungal decay and insect damage.
  • Backed with a 50 year limited warranty.

Loft

Our Pinewood model features two separate loft areas providing up to 336 sq. ft. of additional storage or workspace.

Outdoor Storaage Building Loft

With 6'-2" of headroom the loft can store both tall and smaller stackable items. The 5/8" OSB flooring is supported with 2x8 floor joists spaced 16" o.c.

Access to both lofts is provide by a 32"-48" x 14' wide opening at the center of the building. Homeowner will need to provide a ladder to reach loft floor.

Trusses

Our trusses are engineered to handle snow loads up to 60 psf (pounds per square foot) and 160 mph (3-second gust) wind loads.


Hurricane hanger detail

For extra strength metal hurricane truss hangers are supplied to secure trusses to the exterior walls.

Windows and Doors

Included: Two single hung windows 24" x 36" aluminum windows provide light and ventilation. Lockable frames are durable and easy to operate. Screens limit birds and insects.

Floor

Not Included

The type of foundation and floor system is determined by the homeowner. This can be a post and beam wood floor, or a floating wood floor or a cement slab. Homeowner purchases appropriate material separately.
